Side-by-side comparison

Snappic vs LumaBooth: premium Apple platform or low-cost all-rounder

Snappic vs LumaBooth compared on price, features, sharing and data capture, with a third option to consider if neither one quite fits.

Last materially reviewed 2026-10-03

Quick answerLumaBooth is better value for most operators: from $17 or $18 per month billed annually with two devices, on Windows, Apple and Android. Snappic costs $69 to $399 per month and earns it with AI effects, robot-arm and roaming booths, surveys, analytics and webhooks for brand work on Apple hardware.

Important limitations

— Printed photo strips

— DSLR, 360 or green screen booths

— Buyers who need independent reviews first

Snappic vs LumaBooth: which is better value

On price per feature, LumaBooth wins. Its subscription is a fraction of Snappic's, it includes the first two devices, and its mode list already covers photo, video, GIF, slow-mo, 360, boomerang, mirror booth, green screen and video guestbook.

Snappic is better value only when you will use what the extra money buys. That means AI effects, robot-arm and roaming booth types, custom surveys, client analytics and webhooks. Those matter most to operators selling to brands and agencies.

We have used neither product. The comparison below is drawn from the two vendors' published pages.

Published prices for both

US dollar prices as read on 3 October 2026. They can change, and Snappic's annual figures are not printed; its page states only a 20% discount for annual billing.

  • LumaBooth for Windows: $17 per month on annual billing, $49.99 if paid monthly; two devices included.
  • LumaBooth for Apple (iPad, iPhone, Mac): $18 per month billed annually, or $19.99 month to month.
  • LumaBooth for Android: same $18 annual-billed and $19.99 monthly rates as the Apple version.
  • LumaShare, a separate sharing station app: $7.99 per month.
  • Snappic Starter: $69 per month; still, GIF and burst or boomerang.
  • Snappic Business: $189 per month; video effects, AI effects, 360, surveys and data capture, client analytics.
  • Snappic Premium: $279 per month; white-label, SmartShare, remote control.
  • Snappic Scale: $399 per month; white-label app, multi-client, dedicated support.

Platforms and cameras

LumaBooth covers more ground. It runs on Windows with Canon, Nikon, Sony, GoPro and webcam support, on iPad, iPhone and Mac, and on Android using built-in cameras.

Snappic is Apple only: iPad, iPhone and Mac, with DSLR and GoPro integration listed. No Windows or Android booth app is stated on its pages.

If you own a Windows laptop or an Android tablet, the choice is already made. If you are fully on Apple hardware, both remain open.

Features that separate them

At the entry level LumaBooth gives more. Snappic's $69 Starter plan has stills, GIFs and boomerangs; video, AI and 360 start at Business, $189 per month. LumaBooth lists 360, video and green screen without a higher tier on its pricing page.

Both print. LumaBooth has a built-in print layout designer. Snappic lists wired printing and a wireless print server.

Snappic pulls ahead on business tooling. Custom surveys and data capture start at Business. Webhooks are a paid add-on on Business and included on Premium and Scale. We did not find surveys, data capture or contact export stated on LumaBooth's pricing or home page on the read date, so confirm with the vendor if you need them.

For sharing, LumaBooth lists email, SMS, QR code, Instagram, WhatsApp and AirDrop. Snappic lists SMS and email on Starter and QR guest galleries (SmartShare) as a paid add-on on Business and included on higher plans.

A third option for lead capture only

Some readers comparing these two have a narrower job: one iPad on an exhibition stand, collecting contacts. MoveBooth is built for that and nothing else. Its Plus plan, $149.99 per month, collects name, email and phone and exports a CSV file.

Its limits are significant. It is iPad only, with no printing, no DSLR support, no 360 and no green screen. It has no native CRM integrations. The app is distributed through TestFlight, and we found no independent reviews of it. It costs more than LumaBooth and does less than Snappic Business, so it is not a general substitute for either. Read our lead capture software guide before treating it as one.
