MoveBooth lead capture: fields, export, consent and limits

How MoveBooth lead capture works for event marketers: which plans include it, the fields per plan, CSV export, consent options and the CRM gap.

Last materially reviewed 2026-10-03

Quick answerMoveBooth lead capture is on Plus and Pro only. Plus collects name, email and phone; Pro adds ZIP code and date of birth. Leads download as a CSV file. There are no native CRM, API or Zapier integrations, so every import into another tool is a manual step.

MoveBooth lead capture: which plans have it and how it works

MoveBooth lead capture is available on the Plus and Pro plans. Lite does not include it. The guest takes a photo, enters details on the share form to receive it by email or text, and those details become a contact you can download.

The vendor presents this as the product's purpose: guest photos turned into contacts at brand activations, corporate events and trade shows. Prices are $149.99 per month for Plus and $249.99 for Pro, as read on 3 October 2026, and can change.

Fields you can collect on each plan

The field list is fixed by plan. On both Plus and Pro, each field can be set as required or optional, so you decide how much to ask of each guest.

The FAQ also says custom form fields and consent checkboxes can be added. That is not in the plan comparison table, so which plan includes them is not stated on the vendor's page. Ask before relying on it.

  • Lite: no lead capture
  • Plus: name, email and phone
  • Pro: name, email, phone, ZIP code and date of birth

Getting leads out: CSV export only

Leads download as a CSV file on Plus and Pro. The help center says the file contains name, email, phone if collected, channel name and opt-in timestamp. That article does not list ZIP code or date of birth columns, so Pro buyers should check a sample export.

MoveBooth does not have native CRM or API integrations at any tier, and the help center's answer on Zapier is: not currently. The Salesforce, HubSpot, Mailchimp and Klaviyo logos on the homepage refer to importing the CSV into those tools. Someone on your team has to download the file and upload it after each event.

Consent wording and data handling

Pro allows custom terms text on the share form, which gives a brand a place for its own consent language. That option is not listed for Plus. What wording you need depends on where you operate and is a question for your own legal adviser, not for this site.

The vendor says it does not sell guest contact data and that customers own their lead data. No formal GDPR certification is claimed. Photos are delivered by web link, and anyone with a photo's direct link can open it. Galleries can be password protected.

Lead capture at venues with poor internet

Offline mode is listed on all plans. Capture continues without a connection and delivery is queued until it returns. The help center adds a condition: the booth must have been connected to the internet before the drop. Switching channels also needs working internet.

The homepage describes a real-time dashboard showing impressions, capture rates, shares and contacts. For planning beyond the app, see photo booths for trade shows.

Where MoveBooth lead capture falls short

The main limitation is the manual export. If you need contacts to flow into a CRM during the event, MoveBooth cannot do it. Simple Booth lists Mailchimp and an API on its Pro plan, and Foto Master lists webhooks on its Cloud Pro plan. Breeze Booth lists surveys with CSV and XML export. Pick one of those if automation or surveys matter more than simplicity. Our comparison of lead capture booth software sets them side by side.

Surveys are not mentioned on any MoveBooth page read, and form fields beyond the fixed list are unconfirmed. MoveBooth fits teams that want a short form and a spreadsheet. To see the form in use, follow the setup steps on a Plus or Pro trial.
