MoveBooth review: the short version
MoveBooth does one job. It turns an iPad into a branded photo booth that sends guests their photo by email or text and, on the two higher plans, collects their contact details. On paper it suits trade-show and brand teams better than party or wedding operators.
This review is built from the vendor's own pages, read on 3 October 2026. It is a buyer's reading of published facts, not a hands-on test.
What this review can and cannot tell you
No independent user reviews of MoveBooth were found. There is no Trustpilot profile. No Capterra, GetApp or Software Advice listing surfaced in search. No App Store listing with ratings was found either; the app is distributed through TestFlight. None of the independent or competitor comparison pages read for this site mention MoveBooth.
This site has not tested the app. We cannot tell you how fast it is, how stable it is on a busy show floor, or how good support is in practice. The vendor's 97% customer satisfaction figure appears only on its own site with no method published, so we give it no weight.
Strengths visible on the vendor's pages
Going by the published plan tables, these are the points in MoveBooth's favor. Prices are as read on 3 October 2026 and can change; the pricing breakdown has the full list.
- Flat pricing: every plan includes unlimited events and unlimited sharing, with no per-share fees
- Lead capture with required or optional fields on Plus and Pro, exported as CSV
- Offline mode on all plans, with delivery queued until the connection returns
- Branding and form changes made in a cloud dashboard and pushed to the iPad
- Runs on any iPad with any stand, so the $2,499 kiosk is optional
- Comparison pages that state what the product does not do
Weaknesses and open questions
The limits are just as clear, and several matter for everyday booth work. Some help-centre articles are marked as auto-generated and in places disagree with the marketing site, so check anything important with the vendor.
- iPad only, using the iPad camera, with no DSLR support
- No printing, no 360 video, no slow-motion and no green screen
- No lead capture at all on the $49.99 Lite plan
- No native CRM, API or Zapier connection; CSV export is the supported path
- TestFlight builds can expire and then need a manual update over Wi-Fi
- Video capture and QR-code delivery appear in some help articles but are contradicted by the marketing pages, so both are unconfirmed
Is MoveBooth legit? The verifiable company facts
The checkable facts describe an identifiable company with published terms. Movebooth, LLC makes the product and gives its headquarters as St. Petersburg, Florida. Its contact page publishes a mailing address: 7901 4th St N, STE 8225, St. Petersburg, FL 33702. Its terms are governed by Florida law. The oldest dated help article seen is from November 16, 2017, so the product appears to be at least that old, though no founding year is published. Founder names are not on the About page.
Billing terms are stated plainly. Plans can be cancelled any time from the billing portal and stay active until the billing period ends. Subscriptions renew automatically and are non-refundable once active. Hardware has a 30-day return window for unused items in original condition. Support runs through a help center with chat, and no phone number is published.
Who should buy MoveBooth and who should not
Consider MoveBooth if your events are trade shows, activations or corporate functions, you already use iPads, and a spreadsheet of contacts is the outcome you are paid for. Budget for Plus at minimum, since Lite collects no leads.
Skip it if clients expect prints, a DSLR look, 360 video or background replacement. Other booth apps cover those. If you are still interested, the 7-day trial is the only way to judge speed and reliability, because no independent verdict was found.
