Picking a Snappic alternative starts with why you are leaving
Snappic is a broad platform for professional operators on Apple hardware. Its published plans suggest three reasons to look for a replacement. The first is price: video, AI effects and 360 are not on the $69 Starter plan and begin at Business, $189 per month. The second is platform: Snappic runs on iPad, iPhone and Mac, with no Windows or Android booth app stated. The third is scope: some operators need far less than Snappic offers.
Each alternative below answers one of those reasons. None matches Snappic feature for feature. We have not used these products ourselves; the details come from each vendor's own pages.
Seven alternatives and their published prices
Prices are shown in US dollars as read on 3 October 2026. Any of them may have changed since, so confirm on the vendor's site.
- LumaBooth: $17 to $18 per month billed annually, two devices included; Windows, Apple and Android; 360, video and green screen listed.
- Touchpix: from $22.00 per month billed annually; MultiPass at $44.00 is needed for video and 360; runs on iOS, Android, macOS, Windows and Linux.
- Curator Live: Standard at $29 per event, $69 per month or $499 per year; iPad, iPhone and web; 360 booth and DSLR capture listed.
- Breeze Booth: $49 per month or $499 per year per device; iPad and iPhone; 360 and robot support, AI background removal, surveys.
- Simple Booth: Core at $49 per month; iPad only; data capture forms from Pro at $149 per month; no 360 mode seen on its pricing page.
- Booth.Events: iPad, iPhone and Mac; 360 spinner listed on all plans; prices could not be read on the date, since the page loads them by script.
- MoveBooth: Plus at $149.99 per month for lead capture on one iPad; no 360, AI effects or printing.
If the reason is cost
LumaBooth is the largest saving. Its Apple and Android rate of $19.99 month to month is under a third of Snappic Starter's $69, and it does not hold 360 or video back for a higher tier on its pricing page. The trade is business tooling: we did not find surveys, analytics or webhooks stated there.
Operators with a few events a year can look at Curator Live's per-event price. Watch its extra device costs, listed at $199 to $999 per device per year, and note that each simultaneous event needs its own license.
A search for a free Snappic alternative will disappoint. Curator Live has a free account that adds a demo watermark, and Breeze Booth's trial watermarks output after 10 daily sessions. Neither is a free production tool. Our price guide to booth software lists more.
If the reason is platform or 360 access
Touchpix is the clearest answer for anyone leaving Apple hardware. It states that one license covers every operating system it supports, and it lists GoPro and Canon, Nikon and Sony DSLR support. Its plans are capped by active events, from 2 to 12.
LumaBooth is the other cross-platform choice and the better one for a Windows booth with a tethered camera. The two are compared with Snappic in Snappic vs LumaBooth.
Staying on Apple but wanting 360 below Snappic's Business price, Breeze Booth and Booth.Events both list it. Get Booth.Events prices from the vendor directly.
Where MoveBooth fits, and where it does not
MoveBooth replaces Snappic in one situation only: the booth is an iPad at a trade show or brand activation, and the deliverable is a list of contacts. Its Plus plan collects name, email and phone with required or optional fields, and includes unlimited events.
It is not a substitute for the rest of Snappic. MoveBooth's own page lists 360 video, slow-motion, green screen, printing and DSLR support as things it does not do. Leads leave by CSV only, while Snappic offers webhooks. The app is distributed through Apple's TestFlight, not the App Store, and no independent reviews were found. The full head-to-head is in MoveBooth vs Snappic.
Who should stay with Snappic
Switching is not always the right call.
- Stay if AI effects, robot-arm, mirror or roaming booths are what clients book; no alternative above lists that full set.
- Stay if you rely on client analytics, custom surveys and webhooks in one account.
- Stay if you already own Apple devices and your events justify the Business plan or higher.
- Move to LumaBooth or Touchpix if price or Windows and Android support is the issue.
- Move to MoveBooth only if lead capture on an iPad is all you need.
